Tabassum Perween is currently pursuing MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad in the batch of 2009-2011. She has an excellent academic background and is a University Topper from Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag, Jharkhand  in Information Technology Department. She has a total of 35 months of work experience as a Software Engineer in HSBC Software Development India Private Limited and IBM India Private Limited. She is an active participant in social and cultural events. Sketching and painting are her hobbies and she has won several painting competitions at school and college levels.

She is also part of South Asia Foundation's various initaitives.
